Hoping to share a bit of my pregnancy/postpartum journey via my YouTube channel, check out Episode 1 (& subscribe to stay in the loop)! Not as much running for me these days, but still making it to the track. I’ve been so inspired by all the mom track stars tearing it up this year, and it gives me hope that I can be back out there one day as well. I’ve loved following and hearing other women’s journeys and so in the spirit of women supporting women here we go! Even though each pregnancy and women’s experience is different, my goal by sharing is that we can have healthy active pregnancies and grow/learn together.

Highlights from the 2017 Grand Blue Mile
We want to thank everyone who came out and ran with us for the 2017 Grand Blue Mile. Whether you walked in the recreational division, ran in the competitive division or were one of the elite athletes, thank you for making this year's race completely unforgettable! Over 2,500 runners and walkers came out to take a step towards a healthier life. More than 35 elite milers from across the country traveled to Des Moines to vie for a national title and a share of the USATF 1 Mile Road Championships prize purse. Clayton Murphy finished on top out of the 19 men’s competitors, setting a new record with a sub-4-minute finish time of 3:59.96. Katie Mackey finished first in the group of 16 women runners, with a finish time of 4:37.00. Additional results from the 8th Annual Grand Blue Mile are available at OnlineRaceResults.com.
